WOBURN, MA --- June 21, 2004 The Integrated Solution Group (ISG), a full service consulting firm and system integrator, has just developed and implemented a new warehouse and distribution system for Dexter Shoe. Located in Dexter Maine, Dexter Shoe is a subsidiary of HH Brown Shoe Co., Inc., and is a leader in the design and manufacturing of men’s and women’s, golf, bowling, and casual shoes.

HH Brown selected The Integrated Solution Group to create new warehouse systems for its Dexter Maine facility. The new software allows the company to take advantage of excess space at the Maine location by consolidating divisions and eliminating redundant warehouses. The deployment of the new warehouse system will enable HH Brown to meet customer requirements for better service, flexibility, and efficiency.

The ISG solution allows the Dexter Shoe team to integrate their automated conveyor systems and seamlessly communicate with HH Brown’s existing allocation and billing systems. ISG also introduced mobile-based handheld scanners and implemented software to replace old preprinted forms. The final result was a comprehensive hardware and software Warehouse Management System that provided improved functionality and increased productivity.
